The first thing about this personal information manager program is the looks: an exquisite interface, very appealingly and ergonomically designed.

SmartAssistant appears to be not only very well designed but also rich in features. It contains all the tools needed to help you organize efficiently all your office activities: notes section with the possibility of choosing fonts' properties and color, contacts, Web contacts, calendar & clock, task organizer, etc.

The tasks can be viewed as a folder tree, with the possibility of adding or removing categories or subcategories. A "Search" function is integrated for quickly finding and accessing your contacts or tasks. The program also includes shortcuts to Calculator, Notepad, and a shortcut to a HTML file containing country codes.

Another worthy feature of the program is the fact that before exit, a backup of the database will be created in order to prevent data damage or loss.

Pluses: When adding a new contact, you can also add a picture of that person. Another plus is the "Desktop section" where you can drag-and -drop icons for a quick access to your favorite programs. If you are concerned with your privacy, you can protect your data with a password.

Drawbacks / flaws:
